From Broke to Six Figures: A Journey of Commitment and Faith | My Story of Building a Successful Business
Hey online family, it's great to be here sharing my story with you. It has been a while since I sat down to write a blog post, but I wanted to take the time to share my journey with you all. In this post, I'm going to walk you through how I went from being a broke flight attendant to making six-figures and living the life I always dreamed of.
It all started when I quit my job as a flight attendant and moved to Hawaii to work with my brother's company. I was doing the most, learning so much, and it felt like everything was falling into place. I was building funnels, doing emails, and helping my brother's business grow. It was a steep learning curve, but I was committed to making it work.
Then the pandemic hit and everything changed. Even though I was still in Hawaii, I was ready to leave. I wasn't sure what my next move would be, but I knew I had to keep going. I flew back home to Philly and moved in with my sister and her husband. It wasn't the ideal situation, but it was a roof over my head, and I was grateful for that.
Once I was back home, I went all in on my business. I invested in a coaching program called Allergic to Hourly, and in less than 90 days, I hit my first $10K week. It was a moment of realization that my business had potential to grow. I realized that if I wanted to scale it to six figures, I needed to get out of my parents' basement and go to a place where I could grow.
That's when I moved to Atlanta, and I'm glad I did. Atlanta has been a great place for me to grow my business and build connections. Within six months of moving here, I generated over a hundred thousand dollars. It wasn't easy, but it was worth it. I learned that it's not about how you start, but about how you finish.
When I started, I had nothing, but I had faith in myself and the commitment to see it through. I worked my butt off, set up from sunup to sundown, so that I could make something happen for my life. And this was me at 27, 28. You might be reading this and feeling like your life is over because you don't have it figured out, but I'm here to tell you that it's not about how you start. You have so much potential, and it only starts with you making the decision that this is what you really want. And then doing everything in your power to go after it.
It wasn't easy for me, but I made it happen. I trusted my gut, made a decision, and did everything in my power to go after it. That's what it takes to achieve your dreams. I hope my story resonated with you and reminded you that you have so much time and potential to achieve your dreams. Don't let anyone convince you that you should have it all figured out by now. You still have time to figure it out. So take a deep breath, believe in yourself, and go after what you want.
If you're struggling to find your way, remember that you're not alone. It's okay to ask for help, and it's okay to take your time to figure things out. We all have our own journey, and we all have our own timeline. You just need to be committed to seeing it through.
